🌞#SAR_Fact Monday! ⁉️The #Sentinel1 imaging modes can be operated for a maximum of 25 min per orbit. For the remaining time, the instrument operates over the open ocean in the Wave mode, providing images of 20×20 km at 100 km along the orbit at a low data rate. #TheMoreYouKnow

🌞#SAR_FACT Monday! ⁉️The radar return is a complex interaction of the transmitted signal & the surface. The signal is characterized by the radar frequency, polarization & viewing geometry & the surface has roughness, dielectric properties & composition of the material. #EOChat
